Sacred Heart Hostel Refurbishment

Our objective for this renovation project was: Firstly, to preserve the building and stop further damage. Secondly, to restore it as close as possible to the original design/intention. And thirdly, to comply with the requirements of a hostel according to the National Building Regulations.

All additions and alterations were designed to complement the building’s original style & scale. The interior of the building houses murals done by the late Father Lighton in the 1913. A Dutch painter was commissioned to restore the damaged murals / paintings.
