To provide pedestrian access for learners to the Penhoek Senior Primary School as well as the Lufefe Junior Primary School and Blikana Senior Secondary School.

The works constitute the construction of a bridge and approaches.

The scope of works included the construction of two abutments, two piers and a three-span pedestrian bridge.  The deck composition is two I-beams with a composite deck structure. Signage, stone pitching and the earth approaches form part of the structure
